ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Work involves making periodic security/safety checks, maintaining written logs, writing reports, monitoring security cameras/alarms and security equipment.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:Candidate must be at least 21 years old, possess a valid Illinois driver’s license and have a minimum of one year work experience with a security related background. Prior law enforcement experience is highly desired. Qualifications include a minimum of a high school education with a diploma. Candidate with a degree from an accredited university or college is desired. Eligible candidates must pass background checks. Candidates must be familiar with and proficient in the use of the Internet to assist in research of special topics in preparation of reports related to security subject matters as needed. Candidates are required to demonstrate a proficiency in basic computer usage skills with Microsoft Office products for the purpose of reporting information and compiling special reports upon request.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Individual must demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills. Must possess ability to stand and sit for extended time periods.
