Illinois Child Welfare Data Summit: 1st Annual Leadership Summit

DCFS held its 1st Annual Leadership Summit on January 27 and 28, 2010. The Summit was the vision of Director McEwen and brought together researchers and practitioners to discuss the direction of Child Welfare in Illinois. The Director is a strong advocate of research informing policy and practice and much of the research presented has been used to shape current and future initiatives.

Due to overwhelming demand we are providing the power point presentations that were presented at the Leadership Summit. We hope that this information will prove to be informative, but more importantly provide additional insight into the various factors impacting the children and families we serve.
