Program Grant and Partners-in-Excellence

FY10 FINAL REPORT FORMS

The FY10 Final Reports for Program Grants and Partners-in-Excellence Programs will be filed electronically using the Illinois Arts Council eGRANT system. eGRANT is a web-based online  grant application and submission system. Using eGRANT you can create, complete, and submit Illinois Arts Council grant applications and final reports online. Beginning in Fiscal Year 2010 the IAC will be converting all paper grant applications and final reports to eGrants.

To learn how to access and use the Illinois Arts Council eGRANT system refer to the eGRANT Step by Step Instructions document below.

Please use this link (http://illinoisarts.egrant.net) to access the eGRANT system and the form required for completion of this report.

For assistance in filling out your final report refer to the Final Report Instructions, Definitions, and Tips document below.

Please note the following:

Due to delays in payment of this year’s grants, if you have not yet received these grant funds from the State, please use the accrued method of accounting and list these amounts as IAC Grant Amount Spent.

Final Reports must be submitted electronically by 11:59 PM thirty days after the end date of your grant (In most cases the deadline for filing will be September 30, 2010).  In addition a signed copy of the required Signature and Certification page must be submitted to the Illinois Arts Council. This page must be postmarked no later than one day after the submission of the electronic report..

Illinois Arts Council policy requires strict compliance to the Final Report requirement.  Failure to provide the required report within the prescribed time frame will result in severe penalties.

The policy enacted by the Council is described below:

1.         Grant funds awarded in the current year will be held for payment until all final reports from the previous year are filed.

2.         Any final report which is filed late will cause the grantee to be penalized:

A.        There will be a 25% reduction of all current fiscal year awards for a grantee who is late filing any final reports from the previous year.
B.         If the grantee has no current fiscal year grant awards, the grantee will be prohibited from applying for any grants during the following fiscal year.

If you are unable to meet these deadlines please contact the IAC program staff immediately to request an extension.  Extensions must be requested and approved in writing prior to the filing deadline.

If you are experiencing problems filing this report on time, questions should be directed to Pius Zacharias, Accountant Supervisor at 312/814-3300 or pius.zacharias@illinois.gov.
