Carnival-Amusement Safety Board

The Carnival-Amusement Safety Board is comprised of 8 members who are appointed by the Governor. Those members include the Director of the Department, an operator of amusement rides, a registered professional engineer, an insurance industry representative and representatives of the general public. The Board advises the Department on carnival and amusement safety matters. Please refer to 430 ILCS 85/2-3 for further information.
