Continuing Education Information
All participants interested in obtaining continuing education (CE) credits must visit the CE table and sign in daily. Continuing education certificates are available free of charge.
Registered Nurses:
Oakton Community College, Alliance for Lifelong Learning, Continuing Education for Health Professionals, is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
Licensed Social Workers,
Licensed Clinical Social Workers, and
Nursing Home Administrators: (11.5 contact hours) Certificates are available through the Illinois Department on Aging.
Professional Counselors and
Clinical Professional Counselors: (11.5 contact hours) Certificates are available through Oakton Community College/ALL/CEHP.
Other Professional Groups: One universal training hour (UTH) from Oakton Community College is equal to one 60-minute clock hour. This also will serve as a certificate of attendance. Interested participants must sign in at the CE table in order to receive this certificate.
