The Capital Litigation Trial Bar was created by Supreme Court Rule 714, adopted March 1, 2001, to ensure that counsel who participate in capital cases possess the ability, knowledge and experience to do so in a competent and professional manner. It requires minimum standards for training and experience of attorneys who try capital cases. The Supreme Court certifies duly licensed attorneys to serve as members of the Capital Litigation Trial Bar.

applicable) and return to the address indicated on the form.
To fill out using a computer, you
must have Adobe Reader 4.0 or newer. Open the form. Once the

completed, the form may then be printed out, signed and dated (if
