Appellate Judge Patrick J. Quinn

Patrick J. Quinn was born in Chicago on Oct. 1, 1953. He received his B.A. degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1975 and his J.D. degree from John Marshall Law School in 1980. He served as an Assistant State's Attorney of Cook County from 1981 until his election to the Appellate Court in 1996. He was supervisor of the Sixth Municipal District from 1989 to 1991. Judge Quinn then headed the Public Integrity Unit and, subsequently, the Organized Crime Unit of the Cook County State's Attorney's Office. He and his wife, Susan, have three children.
