"APORS" means the Adverse Pregnancy Outcome Reporting System administered by the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH). Hospitals are required by IDPH to report high risk births, including substance exposed infants, to APORS. Reports are then forwarded to local public health departments for follow-up by visiting nurses. (PG 99.13)
