UNIFIED COMMAND

The Unified Command course is designed to provide those that will be the decision makers at the scene of a major incident with the skills necessary to manage the incident effectively, the power to control the many agencies that will respond and understand the principles of Unified Command, and the ability to distinguish between Unified Command and Incident Command.

  1. Access FSI's website at www.fsi.uiuc.edu.
  2. Click on Courses.
  3. Click on Search & Register, type in 'Unified Command' and click on 'Find Classes'.
  4. After finding the particular class you want to attend, on the far right, click on the 'Online' under 'Registration'.
  5. Click 'yes' whenever it asks 'Do you want to display the nonsecure items?'.
  6. Under 'Online Registration Step 1'  click on 'Unified Command PIN Request Form'.  Click 'yes' when asked 'Do you want to display the nonsecure items?'.
