There must be a match for the value you enter to retrieve information. If you were to misspell
Buck as Bcuk, no records would be located. |
| License Number: |
You can search for a license by license number. If the license exists, the latest
license will be displayed. License numbers are renewed on a regular basis, and the first
two characters of the license number reflect the year the license was issued.

| County: |
You must enter the full county name to search by county. Entering Sang instead
of Sangamon will not return any records. |
| Address Number Is Between: |
These fields are useful when looking for licensed establishments on a specific street.
You can enter a value in one or both of the fields. If you enter a number only in the first field,
all licensed establishments with a street address equal to or greater than the value entered will
be selected. If you enter a number only in the second field, all licensed establishments with a
street address equal to or less than the value entered will be selected. Entering values in both
fields will retrieve all licensed establishments with a street address between the two values. If
entering two values, the first must be smaller than the second.

Enter all or part of the name of the street. For instance, entering
Horse would pull all licensed establishments on Horseshoe Lane,
Racehorse Drive, Horse Hill Rd, Iron Horse, etc.)

You must enter the name of the city to search by city. Entering Spring will display
all licensed establishments in Spring, but not in Springfield. |
| Zip Code: |
Enter a five digit zip code to retrive all licensed establishments located in that zip code. |
| Sort Records By: |
You can select the order of records retrieved by selecting one of the following sorting methods:
- License Number
- Name
- Zip Code
- City, Name
- City, License Number
- City, Zip Code

| Limit Records To: |
You can limit the number of records returned by entering a value in this field. If your internet
connection is slow or if your query returns so many records that the server times out, enter a smaller
number in this field. The default is 100. |
| Owners Last Name: |
You can enter all or part of an owners name and retrieve all licensed establishments the person
has ownership in. To view the owners, you must click on the Owners link in the last
column of the records retrieved. |
